Focusfish is thrilled to offer a year-round after-school theatre program for 2nd-5th graders that goes beyond the Spring Musical… a 2x a week after-school experience with the professional theatre folks from FOCUSfish, starting in August and running through June!

THEATRE KIDS programming will include instruction in the areas of audition prep, character acting, monologue work, music lessons for singers, staying fit for theatre, musical theatre dance, and more! Of course, the “more” is important for those THEATRE KIDS who do NOT wish to sing or be in the spotlight. But, they can still learn how to deliver a monologue to be a better public speaker in school and beyond.  They will also be creating props and sets for the Spring musical.  And there will be a KID CREW assembled to support the Spring musical.  So, there’s a lot to be explored in our new after-school theatre skills program.

The program will be customized for this age group and the attendees, leading each young theatre kid to their audition for the musical, which this year is MOANA. Auditions will happen in March for children ages 2nd grade-5th grade. (Please note your child does not have to enroll in Session 2 to participate in the play.)

Pricing for the after-school program is $70 weekly to be paid monthly at $280. If you need a payment plan, we can set one up for you.  There is limited space available for this program.  Registration begins Dec 1.

All participants will walk to the upper immediately after school for snack time. (Please pack extra snacks and water for after school.  FOCUSfish will offer light, healthy snacks in addition to what you pack.).
Pick-up will happen on the upper playground.  Those needing to stay until 6 pm will be released to Beyond the Bell care.
Note: Your children MUST also be enrolled in Beyond the Bell to participate in the FOCUSfish: Theatre Kids program!

Please note, you do not have to enroll in all sessions!! Your child/ren may enroll in ANY or ALL sessions. See you soon!!
