Rising Stars
For TK-2nd graders.
Full time after school theater enrichment program - M-F from the end of the school day until 6pm.
Taught by Meredyth Hunt. Kinder Yard.
Enrollment limited to Topanga Elementary students only.
Year Round - Aug 12, 2024 - June 10, 2025 - every day
$700 per month ($35 per day) if enrolled full time (5 days/wk) - prorated for partial enrollment

Theatre Kids - Fall Workshop with Meredyth Hunt
For 2nd-5th graders
Come join us as we play improv and theater games! Grow confidence in voicing creative ideas in a group. Build friendships as we create an original show together to perform in front of friends and family. And, of course, have tons of fun using our imaginations to make magic on the stage!
This workshop is for kids that want to explore acting for the first time as well as kids that are already comfortable on the stage. In creating our own show we will brainstorm ideas together, vote on the direction we want to take and then improvise until we have a show to share.
We will focus on character creation and storytelling using our bodies and voices, as well as simple costumes and props, to bring our unique play to life!
All participants will walk to the upper immediately after school for snack time. (Please pack extra snacks and water for after school. FOCUSfish will offer light, healthy snacks in addition to what you pack.) Pick-up will happen on the upper playground. Those needing to stay until 6 pm will be released to Beyond the Bell care. Note: Your children MUST also be enrolled in Beyond the Bell to participate in the FOCUSfish: Theatre Kids program!
